Emmerdale love triangle ‘sealed’ as Dawn Taylor raises new-born baby

Emmerdale: Harry revealed as Chloe’s dad

An Emmerdale love triangle could be a big storyline over the Christmas period following the birth of Dawn Taylor’s (played by Olivia Bromley) baby boy.

In upcoming scenes, Dawn ends up going into labour at the Christmas fair when she’s not with her husband Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle).

Instead, she is left with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) who has to help her through her contraction pains which worsen.

Luckily, Dawn’s birth goes well and she welcomes a baby boy into the world called Evan who she’s named after Billy’s father.

However, could a love triangle be brewing between Dawn, Billy and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) who lives with him at Home Farm?

Emmerdale fans will recall Gabby tried it on with Billy when Dawn was pregnant, but he rejected her advances and the latter stopped trusting Gabby.

However, could Gabby try and make another move on Billy while Dawn is putting her full attention on Evan and her other two children?

Speaking to Express.co.uk and other media about Dawn and Gabby’s strained friendship, Olivia shared: “I think Dawn and Gabby’s relationship just changes all the time.

“I think that they have a friendship and they are not quite sisters… It’s this weird higglety pigglety family in Home Farm, isn’t it?”

She continued: “There’s a lot of respect for each other, but when Gabby did try it on with Billy, I think that was just too far for Sawn and it almost broke them.

“But they managed to bring it back together and now Gabby has been a real support during Dawn’s pregnancy.”

Olivia said Dawn needs someone who understands her and “lifts her up” as the character always “puts herself down”.

However, Olivia teased: “I think again at the moment it seems fine. But it won’t be for very long…”

Does this mean Gabby might stab Dawn in the back and try and get her claws into Billy again?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
